What is Physical Therapy?

Physical Therapy is the medical discipline focused on restoration of movement and function while managing pain. Our goal is to assist our patients in returning to work, play and life through our work in the clinic and patient education.

How long will my rehab last?

Our goal is to restore movement and function as quickly and safely as possible. Each patient’s condition will be thoroughly evaluated by the therapist and discussed with the patient at the initial appointment. Most patients can expect to be seen 2-3 times a week for 2-6 weeks.

We are dedicated to attracting and retaining highly accomplished professionals to provide and support personalized orthopedic, sports and industrial rehabilitation services in a positive, friendly, and upbeat environment. The practice is built on the philosophy of delivering services to the patient by a professional physical therapist or physical therapy assistant with a continuum of care by the individual therapist or team from the initial patient evaluation to discharge. We specialize in manual therapy techniques, in the following areas.

  • Manual Therapy
Manual therapy is a “hands-on” approach to the evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal deficits.
  • Intramuscular Manual Therapy
Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT), otherwise known as Trigger Point Dry Needling, is a treatment for relieving pain caused by muscular tightness and spasms which commonly follow injuries and often accompanies the degenerative processes.
ASTYM is a therapy approach that focuses on scarring, degeneration, and fibrosis that can develop in the body’s soft tissues from a variety of causes such as trauma, overuse, or surgery.
  • Orthopedic Rehab
Rehabilitative expertise to treat a variety of physical problems.
  • Orthotics
Through control of the foot, orthotics can also affect the knee, hip, pelvis and back by promoting proper leg and hip mechanics.
